Day 3. Sunday 29th, November
Othem - S:t Olofsholm
The sun shined again.
Probably, the last day of the pilgrimage is the most beautiful part of the way
We passed throught old mills, an abandoned limestone quarry, a well-preserved forest, a stone beach... Different environments that show the great nature diverse of Gotland
The destination of this pilgrimage is not a shrine or a well.
It is the ruin of a chapel dedicated to S:t Olof.
The first Christian king that converted to Gotland people from Viking customs to Christian beliefs. He spent his last winter on this place before he moved its army to the mainland for getting back the throne of Norway.
S:t Olofsholm is an interesting point. The visitor can see many different layers of the history of Gotland form this point: old and modern mills, old and moder quarries, religious and militar ruins... sea, nature...

S:t Olofsholm
Waiting on the S:t Olofsholm´s beach, Lotte and Mike grilled a delicious vegan food.
A special Fika for pilgrims and their friens.
The best way to end the journey.
