Biography

He was born in Barcelona in 1955. For eight years he gave classes at the Faculty of Information Sciences at the Autónoma University of Barcelona and in the Fine Arts Faculty, until he gave up teaching in 1986 to dedicate himself fully to his own work. In 1980 he founded the quarterly bilingual magazine 'Photovisio' together with two colleagues. He was co-editor of the publication until 1990 and has also been the correspondent in Spain for a variety of international magazines and agencies. Until 1983 he experimented with manipulative techniques and photomontages, and then also began to return to everyday simple photography. His work covers a variety of natural phenomena, and on occasions he has created new plant forms.
